Silver Stick Help

2nd Annual Silver Stick Regional

To help the tournament run smoothly it counts on hundreds of volunteers to spend long hours at the rink but if everyone pitched in and helped for 1-2 hours we would be turning help away. Please reach out to a Silver Stick Coordinator below to see where you can help. Many of you are playing in it, or will play in it someday, help make sure it’s a great tournament for the kids this year and in the future.

November 30 - December 2

Timekeeper / Scorekeeper
Chairman:  Jason Hills (McMorran) and Melanie Moser (Glacier Pointe)
email: Jason (McMorran)   - or - Melanie (Glacier)
One person is needed to run the time clock for every game at McMorran and Glacier Pointe.  One person is needed to complete the game sheet for each game at McMorran and at Glacier Pointe.  Persons who do not have experience in running the clock should probably not volunteer for this job unless they have someone that can train them.

Marshall
Chairman:  Tim Schmidt
email:
Volunteers work checking teams in at McMorran and Glacier Pointe. They have the players sign in, assign the teams locker rooms and keep the locker rooms locked when the players are on the ice.

Goal Judge
Chairman:  Jim Feher
email:
Two goal judges are needed for every game at McMorran and at Glacier Pointe.  They sit up on the goal judge chair and turn the light on when a goal is scored.

Penalty Box Attendant
Chairman:  Rob Matthews
email:
Two penalty box attendants are needed for each game at McMorran and at Glacier Pointe.  They sit in the penalty box and assure that the players serving penalties get out at the appropriate times.

Announcing and or Music
Chairman: Jeremy Dove
email:
Announcers and Music are needed for the McMorran Main and Glacier Pointe.  It is recommended that you have either previously announced games or played game music.
